The Online Class Format

Not very different from the face-to-face format, TriStar’s online sessions run on all weekdays, from 10 am to 4 pm. Each term is for 8 weeks and once admissions are finalized before commencement of a term, no new students are inducted until the next term. The tutor is engaged with the students all through the day and the sessions are interactive and student oriented so that learning is participatory and active.

The Online Teaching Methodology

IELTS is all about being proficient in Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking and this requires fairly good vocabulary and a strong foundation in grammar. At TriStar, students are equipped with tips and strategies to master these skills, understand questions, identify key points and answer coherently and accurately, all within the prescribed time constraints.

Building on their grammar base, students are guided in their Reading and Listening practice, with elaborate review and feedback in every session. Speaking practice is conducted individually over voice calls and color-coded feedback is written out and sent to students via Whatsapp. Writing tasks are submitted by students through email, printed, corrected and written reviews of the same are provided to the students almost on a daily basis as the course progresses.
